Bride of Beirut

Soraya and Fares meet for the first time at a coffee shop. He sees her again at the nightclub where she works as a singer and a violinist. When his business partner attacks her, Fares defends her and offers her a ride. The next day, they meet at the coffee shop where he gifts her a new violin.

Fares is annoyed that his mother keeps pressuring him to get married, especially after she invites her friend Salma and her daughter Naya over in an attempt to get Fares to marry Naya. Fares and Soraya's friend agree on a way for Fares to see Soraya and invite her to dinner.

As Laila asks for Naya's hand on Fares' behalf, Fares gets injured when Soraya's neighbor attacks him and Soraya. When he recovers, he shocks his mother when he proposes to Soraya, especially since she is arranging his marriage to Naya. Laila opposes Fares and Soraya's marriage.

Khalil's inappropriate actions affect his work and his personal life. When Naya tries to give back the customary gift of the first bride of the Daher family, Laila informs her that she is still marrying into the family. Soraya and Fares get married.

The family is left reeling from the news about Fares' marriage. As Laila orders the servants to prepare the newlywed's room, she makes sure to inform Soraya of her disapproval of her and refuses to join the family for dinner. When Soraya tries to win Laila over, the latter bullies her.

As Laila deliberately humiliates Soraya, she arranges for Naya to wed Khalil. The ambitious Naya agrees due to her wish to become the lady of the Daher mansion. Fares and Khalil quarrel over what Khalil did to Assem. Laila arranges a double wedding for Naya and Khalil, and Fares and Soraya.

Soraya's aunt arrives at the mansion to escape Omar who assaulted her to find out Soraya's location. Laila orders her maid Ruby to keep an eye on Soraya and Dalia. As the family goes to officially ask for Naya's hand, Naya treats Soraya with clear arrogance.

Khalil is furious that Fares ended their visit to Naya's house in an attempt to please Soraya. Dalia and Soraya grow scared of what Omar could do. Sara brings Soraya her mother's wedding dress as a gift which infuriates Laila who already chose Soraya's wedding dress.

When the family goes out to a nightclub to celebrate the upcoming wedding, Fares quarrels with Soraya when she takes the stage to sing. Laila ignores that Soraya is the first bride of the Daher family and gifts the family necklace to Naya while Soraya gets a new necklace.

Omar crashes the double wedding and threatens Fares and Soraya in front of the guests. Naya and Laila blame Soraya for what happened. Fares is wroth that Soraya didn't tell him about Omar. Naya informs the governor and the cops that she saw Omar talking to Soraya before.

Fares is furious with Soraya. Laila rebukes Naya for sharing what she saw with everyone and informs her that she knows of her intent. The family loses a lot of money in the stock exchange after the wedding. Soraya tries to explain herself to Fares.

Sara meets Adam who is a rival of the Daher family. Soraya meets up with Sara. Laila tells the lawyer to prepare divorce papers and informs Soraya that Fares wants a divorce. The shocked Soraya signs the divorce papers.

Soraya confronts Fares who denies any knowledge of the divorce papers. Fares warns Laila that he will leave the house and reside in Beirut if she acts against Soraya. Adam rents the house next door as he continues to plot revenge. Fares' ex, Rana prepares to return to the mountains.

Fares and Soraya reconcile. Hady tries to reconcile his mother and Laila. Soraya and Fares visit his father's grave on the anniversary of his death, followed by Laila and Gad. Adam's mother is also there but she leaves once she sees Laila.

Adam's mother Amira commemorates Fawzi during her visit to his family. Salma is shocked to see her sister Amira whom she knows is Fawzi' second wife. Laila invites Amira to dinner to get to know their new neighbors. The driver Mostafa recalls that he used to see Amira with Fawzi.

As Adam and Amira arrive, Fares keeps an eye on Adam whom he suspects of hiding something. Fares is angry when he learns that Khalil knows Adam. Rana decides to find Fares to inform him of her return.

Adam vows revenge on Fares' family for depriving him of his father. He helps Soraya and Sara in their search for a place to open a music school. Soraya confirms that she is pregnant. Laila tells the servants to prepare the family's cottage for Khalil and Naya. Khalil confronts Adam.

Hady overhears Soraya talking about her pregnancy with Sara. Soraya overhears Laila telling Naya of her wish for Khalil and Naya to have a child. Soraya tells Fares about her pregnancy which shocks Laila. Khalil and Naya go to the cottage after Khalil quarrels with Fares.

As the family celebrates the news of Soraya's pregnancy, Soraya confronts Laila and informs that she will not take any more insults from her. Laila is rushed to the hospital after collapsing but the doctor discovers that she is faking her illness. Laila gets him to lie to the family.

As Laila continues to fake her illness, Soraya feels guilty and confides in Dalia. Dina overhears them and Naya forces her to tell her what she heard. When Soraya discovers that Laila is faking her illness, Laila uses the baby and her children's love for her as leverage against Soraya.

Naya informs Khalil that Soraya is the reason Laila got sick. When Adam sabotages their project, Khalil blames Fares and tells him about what happened between Soraya and Laila. Basma sees Salma in Amira's house and informs Laila.

Laila learns of Soraya and Sara's plans to open a music school in the mountains. Naya tries to take advantage of Khalil's feelings for her. Talal informs Laila of the fight between Fares and Khalil. Fares learns that Adam is the one who sabotaged their project.

As unknown assailants shoot at Adam, Fares becomes the prime suspect. Sara tells Soraya and Khalil about the fight between Adam and Fares and that Fares threatened Adam. Naya reconciles with Khalil and tries to get close to Laila.

Soraya discovers that Fares kept his promise regarding the school. She tries to make it up to him by going to his favorite place. A guy visits Dalia who is terrified by his presence. Naya gives Dina money to settle Afif's debts and uses it to gain control of the mansion.

Gad surprises the family by bringing his friend Zeina over for dinner. Laila overhears Basma and Ruby talking about Gad. Rana is devastated when she learns of Fares and Soraya's loving marriage. She reflects on how she had to run away after Laila threatened her despite her pregnancy.

Laila hits Gad and tells him to live up to the family name. Assad continues to threaten Dalia who is forced to steal Naya's necklace. As Laila prepares for the arrival of her grandson, Rana decides to go to the mansion and tell the family everything.

Fares is upset when he sees Rana because he thinks that she abandoned him. Assad continues to threaten to expose Dalia. When Khalil and Fares quarrel over Khalil's wish to buy a new house, Laila overhears them and admonishes them.

Laila forces Ruby to wed Basma to an elderly man. Adam tries to recruit Khalil to his side and talk him into a business partnership. Dalia tries to sell Naya's stolen necklace. Naya threatens Dina to get her to steal the family's cherished crib.

As Dina sets the family's cherished vintage crib on fire, they all try to put the fire out. Fares confronts Salma about her connection to Adam. Soraya meets Rana and Amir who shares a passion for music with Soraya. Amir is enrolled in Soraya's school where he meets Fares.

As Amir and Fares grow close, Rana decides to tell Fares the truth about her illness and Amir's paternity at the opening ceremony. Rana asks Fares to meet her at the hospital so she could tell him everything. Dalia is shocked to find Laila at the jeweler's when she goes to sell Naya's necklace.

Laila promises not to turn Dalia in if she helps her separate Fares and Soraya. Basma tries to kill herself but she is saved by Afif and Ruby. Rana is hurt that Fares thinks that she abandoned him. Fares asks his brothers to keep the news about Rana from Laila and Soraya.

As the doctors advise Rana to start her treatment, Fares refuses to hear her out and tells her to stay away from him. Laila asks Mostafa to watch Dalia so that they could uncover the identity of the person she is paying. Khalil starts working with Adam in order to afford a new house.

Laila informs Fares and Hady of the relationship between Gad and Basma. Khalil shocks the family when he buys Naya a house. Adam and Sara grow close. When Fares and Gad fight, Khalil and Hady try to calm things down.

Fares and Gad reconcile. Rana starts her treatment. When Soraya takes Amir to the family house, they are all shocked to learn that he is Rana's son. As Fares makes the connection between Amir's age and Rana's sudden disappearance, he tries to find her to get an explanation.

As the family doubts Amir's paternity, Fares is unable to reach Rana. Amir stays the night when Farah is forced to stay at the hospital. Gad apologizes to Basma for how he hurt her.

Naya tries to learn more about Rana from Dina. Sara grows concerned when Adam disappears. When Fares sees Amir's passport, he starts to suspect that Amir is the son of an old British friend of Rana's. Laila uses Amir's water bottle to run a DNA test.

Farah tells Rana that Amir spent the night with Fares' family. Soraya helps Basma complete her education. Fares is convinced that Amir isn't his son. Adam tries to find excuses for his disappearance after he slept with Sara.

Laila admonishes Rana for trying to pass Amir as Fares' son. Soraya starts bleeding and is rushed to the hospital. Fares decides not to tell Soraya about his story with Rana. Khalil is furious when he discovers that Naya is the one who gave Fares' pictures with Rana to Soraya.

Farah makes Fares doubt Amir's paternity. Laila gets the DNA test results that prove that Amir is Fares' son. Fares confronts Rana who tells him that Amir is his son but she gave him her British friend's last name.

Fares fights with Laila after he discovers that she is the reason Rana left him. Khalil ruins a new deal with his incessant interference during the contract signing.

Laila visits Rana to reprimand her and threatens her to keep the visit from Fares. Rana kicks Laila out and sends Fares a message asking to meet him in the morning. Naya informs Khalil of her pregnancy. Soraya's test results are not good.

Rana tells Fares and Soraya that the baby is in a precarious position and that they need more tests. When Soraya invites Rana and Amir to dinner, Fares discovers that Laila went to see Rana after Amir gives Laila the brooch that she dropped during the visit.

Fares decides to leave the mansion and get a separate house with Soraya. Laila leaves the mansion to go to the house in Beirut. Naya tells her mother that she loves Fares. Soraya undergoes various tests to check on the baby.

Khalil admonishes his mother for leaving the mansion and for always causing trouble between them and Fares. Khalil and Naya move into their new house. Naya plots to reveal the truth about Fares and Rana to Soraya.

Gad gets in a terrible motorcycle accident. As the family comes together for the first time since each of them moved out, Dr.Ibrahim informs them that the accident has affected Gad's ability to walk and that he is in a serious condition. Laila burns Gad's motorcycle.

Soraya decides to return to the mansion to help the family during these trying times. When Fares visits Rana to look at pictures of Amir growing up, he is surprised when Soraya arrives to visit Rana.

Naya informs Fares of Khalil's partnership with Adam and shares her concerns about Adam. When she reveals that Adam is a partner in Soraya's music school, Soraya quarrels with Sara for keeping Adam's involvement hidden from her.

Basma encourages Gad to try and get better. Laila rebukes Zeina when she comes to see Gad. Rana informs Soraya and Fares that their unborn baby is in jeopardy. Laila promises to support Soraya for the rest of the pregnancy.

Talal watches Adam. Khalil comes clean about his illegal business with Adam. When Laila visits Adam in his holding cell, he reveals that he is Fawzi's illegitimate son.

Mostafa tells Laila everything he knows about Fawzi and Amira. Adam goes to see Khalil after he is released from prison. Fares arranges to curb Khalil's legal power in the company. Laila asks the lawyer about Adam's legal position if he manages to prove his paternity.

Khalil fights with Fares and Laila when he learns that they froze him out of the company. As everyone tries to help and support Gad, Laila confronts Amira at her house.

Adam threatens Laila and demands that their familial connection to Fawzi gets announced. Laila breaks down when she learns that Fawzi was in love with Amira, and she has Ruby burn all of Fawzi's belonging. Adam informs Sara that he is a member of the Daher family and that he wants revenge.

Laila asks Fares to support Khalil. Amir runs away when he overhears Rana and Farah talking about his father. He calls Fares and asks to see him. Laila tells Soraya that Adam is Fares' illegitimate brother.

As Soraya considers telling Fares about Adam's paternity, Fares decides to come clean to her about Amir. Gad starts responding to his treatment. Dalia overhears Laila and Fares talking about Amir.

Dalia is torn whether to tell Soraya about Amir or not. She decides to tell her after talking it over with Sara. Soraya and Fares lose the baby. Naya and Khalil learn that their baby is a girl.

Soraya returns home as the family mourns and tries to console her and Fares. When Dalia confronts Fares about Amir, he explains everything to her. Adam's mother receives Sara coldly when she goes to visit.

Laila refuses to accompany her sons to Fawzi's grave on Father's Day. Soraya gives her baby's stuff to Naya. Fares accompanies Amir to a Father's Day party. Naya tears apart a photo of Rana and Fares but Soraya sees the torn-up photo. Adam tells Khalil that he is his brother.

Fares is bereft when Soraya vanishes for months. Sara prepares for her wedding. Soraya calls Dalia and tells her that she is in Bucharest. As the whole family learns Adam's true identity, Laila is cold towards Naya due to her previous connection to Adam.

Talal discovers where Soraya is after watching Dalia and Sara. Fares goes to the coffee shop where Soraya works but she evades him. He waits for her at the nightclub where she also has a job.

Laila refuses to allow Naya to visit her mother. Soraya gets a restraining order against Fares, but he manages to explain what happened and they reconcile. Laila goes to meet Adam's lawyer only to discover that he is an old acquaintance.

Naya visits her mother after months of avoiding her. Gad helps Basma with her studies. Fares comes clean to Soraya and gives her the choice of staying with him or getting a divorce. Soraya returns to Beirut.

When Fares and Soraya return separately, Laila has Naya and Khalil's things moved to Fares and Soraya's room. As Adam and Sara prepare for their wedding, Adam invites Khalil to the wedding and informs him of his wish to reach a settlement.

Laila prepares to receive Adel who explains his reasons for representing Adam in the lawsuit against them. Laila and Khalil angrily refuse the idea of exhuming Fawzi to run a DNA test. Adam insists on taking the family name.

Hady meets Adel's daughter Abeer in the mountains. When Soraya goes out with Adam and Sara prior to the wedding, Fares and Khalil run into them, and Fares informs Soraya that he won't give her a divorce. Talal informs him that Soraya still loves him.

Laila recalls her old feelings for Adel and asks Talal to run a background check. When Soraya hires a lawyer to sue for divorce, Hady seeks her out to try and explain their stance. Gad and Basma plan to reunite Fares and Soraya so that they could talk.

As Soraya and Fares meet up, Adel explains to Laila why he took Adam's case. Naya overhears Gad and Basma talking and informs Laila that Khalil and Gad are trying to reconcile Fares and Soraya who is suing for divorce.

The family's lawyer tells them that they have to run the DNA test or give Adam money. Fares offers to give Adam his share of the inheritance. Laila advises Rana to take advantage of the estrangement between Soraya and Fares to get Fares back. The family decides to attend Adam and Sara's wedding.

Fares grows jealous when he sees Soraya with Emad at the wedding. After he threatens Emad, he tries to talk things out with Soraya. Adam announces his paternity in front of everyone.

As the family leaves the wedding, the devastated Sara asks for a divorce after Adam ruined their wedding. Adam explains his actions and apologizes to Sara. Soraya tries to reach Fares after Laila convinces him that Soraya knew of Adam's plans.

When Fares goes to see Soraya to discern if she had anything to do with Adam's actions, he grows angry when he sees Emad visiting Soraya and Dalia. Adel tries to fix what Adam did.

The ladies of the mountain gather at Laila's place after the news about Adam spreads. Laila tries to convince Rana to get back together with Fares for Amir's sake. When Soraya goes to pick up the rest of her belongings from the mansion, Laila makes sure that Rana is there for Soraya to see.

As Fares plots to sabotage Adam's business, he agrees to sign the divorce papers. Soraya leaves the mountains after her divorce from Fares. Rana and Fares tell Amir the truth.

Amir breaks down when he learns the truth and leaves his parents to see Soraya who tries to calm him down. Laila asks Salma and Naya to visit Amira to get information that could help them with the case.

The video of Soraya singing at Adam's wedding spreads. Adel informs Laila that the court ordered the exhumation of Fawzi's body. Hady sees Abeer. Soraya agrees to work with Emad's sister Razan.

Hady intervenes after Laila loses her temper with Adel. Abeer is surprised to learn that Hady is a Daher when she comes to pick up her father from the mansion. Laila insists on celebrating her birthday on the same day Soraya and Fares are meeting to settle their divorce. Soraya gets in an accident.

Soraya has a change of heart after her accident and announces her wish for reconciliation. When Fares takes Soraya back to the mansion, the furious Laila informs him that she won't accept her again. Adel and Adam plot against the Daher family.

Soraya talks to Laila after the latter disapproves of Fares and Soraya's reconciliation. Adam's mother fights with Sara. Rana loses hope of getting together with Fares despite Laila's encouragement.

Laila goes to Adel's house without telling anyone and refuses to explain where she was when she returns. She goes to Rana to ensure that the latter won't keep Amir from them due to Fares and Soraya's reconciliation.

Laila tells her children to come to dinner at Rana's house. When Fares arrives, he realizes that his mother set him up. Soraya is upset that the family went to Rana's house and Fares tries to explain what happened.

As Fares tries to make up with Soraya, Laila learns that Naya and Khalil are going to meet with Adam. Soraya tries to convince Fares to go out with Sara and Adam.

Despite his family's objections, Fares invites Adam and Sara to dinner. Laila prepares to have dinner with Adel. Amir tells Soraya that he doesn't want to see his parents.

Adam comes to dinner at the Daher mansion and tries to provoke the family. Soraya helps Basma get ready for Anwar's birthday. Gad is jealous when he sees Basma with Gad. Soraya and Naya get in a fight that ends with Naya falling down the stairs.

With the baby in danger, Naya has to give birth early. Adam goes to the hospital to see Khalil. Laila insists on accompanying Fares to the exhumation of Fawzi's body.

Naya breaks down when she sees the serious condition of her daughter. Fares and Soraya try to explain what happened to the family. Adam tries to reconcile Gad and Anwar after a fight. Adel tries to convince Adam not to make the exhumation public knowledge.

Talal tries to reconcile with Dalia. The press learns of the exhumation of Fawzi's body. Rana informs Khalil that the baby is getting better. Soraya feels guilty when Naya can not accept her baby.
