Shaun Micallef takes Aaron Chen to China on an origin odyssey. Together they explore the rich heritage of Aaron’s father and the generations before him, uncovering stories, traditions and local delicacies.

Host Shaun Micallef is whisking comedians away from their everyday Aussie lives to embark on an epic odyssey. This time he’s off to Switzerland with radio presenter and comedian Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli to explore Wippa’s Swiss roots.

Shaun takes comedian Lizzy Hoo on an origin odyssey, to figure out who is Lizzy Hoo, by ignoring the Malaysian Chinese side of her family, instead exploring her Irish roots inherited from the person who isn’t a Hoo, her mother.

Comedian Dilruk Jayasinha travels home to Sri Lanka to explore how his upbringing amongst three different religions and his place in his family have shaped his life in Australia today.

On this shapely leg of the journey Shaun and comedian Nina Oyama head to Nina’s father’s homeland, Japan to learn more about her heritage.

This leg takes him and adopted stand-up son Arj Barker to India. They dive into an adventure-filled journey across the country, with Arj even performing a routine along the way.
