Lohithadas spotted her in the programme and cast her in Nivedyam (2007). She has been considered the most beautiful and talented actress of Malayalam film industry. She is a malayalee, residing at Mannarkadu in Kottayam, Kerala. She completed higher secondary education from St. Mary's Higher Secondary School, Mannarkkadu. She has two sisters.
